Painter Panu Hemminki

Since 1994 I have worked as an visual artist in Ostrobothnia. The most important technique is acrylic and oil painting, but I also do watercolors. Aim of my works to achieve a high level of quality and the use best materials in the production of paintings. The production is modern and the traditional trend. Also, portraits and other commission works will be done by guarantee. Over the years I have had dozens of group and solo exhibitions in Finland and abroad. My paintings are about a thousand private collections. I am an entrepreneur who welcomes challenges. Please feel free to contact us!

The main style is surreal and fantastic trend, but the traditional landscape painting, as well as abstract and naïve works can be found in my catalog. I have developed my own style of direction, Ostrobothnian surrealism, where the traditional elements are combined with the imagined world and subconscious symbols. I want to create a unique, personal images that reflect our multi-dimensional reality and  provide thought-provoking and unforgettable experiences. The aim of my art is to make invisible and mysterious world visible, such as surrealist Paul Klee has said. My art includes religious and scientific perspective and reflection. My motto is Albert Einstein`s thought: “Imagination is more important than knowledge”. I believe art can be a method  to create a visual image of the total universe and fantastic nature in which man interacts with a small but significant role. Art can be used in the middle of the grey everyday experience empowering and sacred moments.
